Empowering your journey towards recovery in a family-oriented, safe community.
Ascend Sober Living was founded with the belief that recovery is not just about abstinence but about healing the whole person within a supportive community. Our founders, who have personal experiences with the challenges of recovery, saw the need for a family-oriented space that prioritizes safety, respect, and personal growth
We dedicate ourselves to fostering a nurturing and safe environment for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Our mission is to help each member ascend to the best version of themselves, providing the support and tools necessary for sustainable recovery.
Our approach is centered on daily accountability, comprehensive support, and regular wellness checks that ensure both individual and community safety. We incorporate family values into every aspect of our community, helping members feel part of a larger, caring family. Respect and love guide our interactions, making our living environment a beacon of hope and recovery
Justin’s journey in recovery from substance use disorder began on Nov. 25th, 1997 when he got sober as a 17-year-old young man. He grew up in a home affected by substance use disorder ending up in foster care and eventually adoption. He became a troubled youth developing substance use disorder himself. He was fortunate to have a supportive adoptive family with many youth programs that led to his sobriety. Today Justin has 26 years in long-term recovery.
Justin’s professional career started in Information Technology. He left a career as the Global IT Manager of private equity firm TA Associates in 2015 to pursue helping people suffering from SUD. Justin’s success in sobriety and a life focused on health and wellness led him to co-found The Process Recovery Center and Rise Above Sober Living in Nashua, NH. He sold his stake in both companies in 2021 and co-founded Capital Recovery Health, Ascend Video, and Ascend Sober Living. He is excited to focus his energy on NH’s capital, Concord, NH, and expand SUD services in the area.
He is a published author of the book The Recovery Conscious Mind. He is a dedicated family man, married to his wife Christina, and is a father of 5 children, Dakota, Daniella, Maeve, Jack, and Finn. Deeply passionate about God and loving people, He enjoys devoting most of his time to helping others through his businesses and personal life.
